You are enthusiastically invited to join in our Annual Wishing Well Bartermart Exchange -- a spirited evening of sharing, bartering, and trading in the excellent company of our community.  This is open to our extended community; feel free to share this event & invitation with your fellow creaters & makers. This Wishing Well, winter-season tradition is an opportunity to explore and share your creative spirit, while also building connections  It is a lively adults-only evening, that is both an active barter market of handmade goods and a fun social event. If you haven't joined in previous years or if your family is new to Wishing Well, here is how it works: * Bartermart participants arrive with handmade goods that will be traded with other participants.   * Trades are made in "lots," with an estimated value of $10 - $20 per lot (items may be joined in any quantity to create this lot value). * Some samples of handmade goods and "lot size" that have been brought in past years: jewelry, homemade soup, block prints, cutting boards, woven pieces, gourmet chocolates, upcycled clothing, homemade kraut, 4 single serving bottles of soda, 8 oz of cheese, plant arrangements, canned goods, raw chocolates, bars of soap, needle crafts, woodwork, ceramics, bath and body care items, sewing, leather work, ghee, baked goods, basketry, and on & on.... * Bring as many lots as you'd like to trade (typically, attendees bring 5 or so lots; but, you'll need 1, at a minimum). There are no "lot value" police -- lot value is decided by you, as well as the bartering marketplace!  Your items / lots should be "good enough to sell," but also something that you simply enjoy making and feel proud to share.  After we've chatted, socialized, and "shopped" through the Bartermart goods, we'll get down to trading -- which will be lot for lot.   Participants are asked to contribute beverages and / or nibbles.  See you there!! It is a beautiful day today! Another session of summer camp wraps up today and that means our campers are finishing up their sweet projects. This project includes felted hearts that the children made themselves, along with some finger knit yarn and local drift wood.
