On Wednesday May 1st, you are all invited to celebrate the spring season with dance and song. In the morning please bring extra flowers or greenery from your yard. At noon we will be weaving crowns. We’ll end the day with a treat!

A Star Child is a soft wooly friend to play and dream with, or decorate a room. Wishing Well School in Los Osos sponsors this craft workshop for adults on Dec. 15th from 10a.m. to 12p.m. Each Star child is only $10.
Space is limited, and pre-registration is required . To register go to the contact page and request to sign-up for the class. Please tell us how many star children you would like to make. We look forward to seeing you there!
Oct. 18th 10a.m. – Field Trip to the Los Osos Fire Station
If your child does not come on Thursdays but you would like to join us please talk to me. We will need 4 parent volunteers to join us on this field trip. If you are interested please email me and let me know. Thanks!

Nancy Major, an educator in this county for over 20 years with homeschool, charter school and Waldorf experience, will come and talk to us about the benefits of a Waldorf education in light of vision therapy, her latest endeavor. She is also a board member for Wishing Well School. I am thrilled to have her come and talk to us! This is an evening not to miss!

Wishing Well Work Days
August 25, 2012, 10a.m.-5p.m.
This is our annual let’s get ready for the year work day. There will be lots of cleaning, sprucing, sewing, digging, organizing, etc. Here are a few of the tasks:
painting signs sanding toys cleaning crayons wiping windows digging and planting in the garden creating a natural fence up above setting stumps in place and the list will grow…
Please bring any tools you think would be handy in helping out on this day. Thanks! Hope to see you there!
July Garden Thursdays, 11a.m.-2p.m.
Each Thursday in July we are hosting a garden playdate. Food not lawns! Please bring your picnic lunch, garden tools, working shoes, sunhats, strong arms, smiling faces and your children. Hope to see you Thursday from 11-2pm in the Wishing Well Garden!!!
End of the Year Celebration: Picnic and Silent Auction featuring live music by Oso Sol – Saturday June 9th, 2-6pm at Wishing Well School
Come and join us for an afternoon of fun! Bring your own picnic, dance to the tunes of Oso Sol, play games with your kids and peruse our silent auction. We have many beautiful handmade items and lots of community donated items too! Don’t miss this chance to support the only Waldorf school on the central coast.

Kite Festival Parade April 30, 2012 9am-11am, Morro Bay
All currently or previously enrolled families are welcome to bike, scoot, walk or ride with us down Morro Bay Blvd. to celebrate our windy springtime on the central coast. We will be meeting at 9am on Pacific St. near the B of A. The Kite Festival has lots of fun activites for the family. Hope to see you all there!

In going with the general philosophy here, if you are going to do Valentines please make them special and from your child rather than passing out an advertisement for the latest cartoon/movie character. Parent Evening: Jan 25, 2012 7pm
We’re moving!!!! Come and help: Aug. 13 and 27, 2011 10am-4pm
On Aug. 13th and 27th we will be having a work party at our new site, Sunnyside Elementary, Los Osos. Come and meet new families, let the kids play and pick up a paint brush. We will provide homemade lemonade. Please bring a lunch if you plan to stay for the day. We look forward to meeting new families and reuniting with old friends. Come join us!
May Day Picnic and Dance: May 5, 2011 12pm-1pm
On Thursday May 5th, you are all invited to attend a picnic lunch and dance around the maypole (sombreros decorated with flowers are ok too:). This will be at 12:00p.m. Please bring your own picnic lunch. In the morning we will be making May crowns, so if you have extra flowers in your yard or extra greenery, please bring them and help us weave crowns.
May Faire: May 1, 2011, 11 am to 3 pm

We’ll weave flower crowns, dance ribbons around the Maypole, see a puppet show, and share a potluck lunch. A chance to learn more about Waldorf Education, and visit with like-minded folks.
