Grades Aftercare Teacher 2017-2018

Wishing Well School is seeking an Grades Aftercare Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. The position requires:  the teacher have variable and flexible hours between 12:30 and 5:30pm; they work well with grades 1-8; they love crafts and outdoor activities; and they work well with a team of other teachers who are committed to creating a strong curriculum of age-appropriate activities for students after school. We prefer that there be a basic knowledge of Waldorf Education or previous work experience in a Waldorf School.  Hourly pay rate is $15 hr. Applicants must meet California Community Care licensing requirements, including 12 ECE units, and proof of required immunizations or doctor-verified immunity.

Parent Child Teacher 2017-2018

Wishing Well School is seeking an experienced teacher to serve as the Parent-Child class teacher in its Early Childhood program. As the first link between home and school for parents new to Waldorf education, this role requires warmth, humor, adaptability, openness, and knowledge of Waldorf education. A Waldorf Teaching Certificate or Waldorf teaching experience is helpful, as is direct experience guiding children 1 to 3 years old.
